“Virginia Sparks (Barbara Neil) entered into this life on April 19, 1938 in the town of Alexandria, Louisiana. Virginia was the 6th child out of eight children born to the union of Eddie and Charlotte Stafford.She attended St. James Catholic School. There, she met Andrew Sparks, Jr. who was a friend of her older brother M.C. Soon the two were married and from that union 6 children were born: Levell Martin, Debra Noble (James), Cynthia Lynch (David), Andrew Sparks, Jr. III, Gregory Sparks (Crystal), and Ricky Sparks. For many years she worked at Mattel and Parmel Ice Cream Company. But her most rewarding job was being a homemaker and taking care of children.Virginia loved cooking, fishing, word games, gambling, socializing, and going to church - but not necessarily in that order, smile.She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Sparks, Jr., her son Ricky Sparks, her parents, two sisters and four brothers and her dear partner James Robertson.Virginia leaves behind to cherish her precious memory her beloved baby-brother Nathaniel Hunter, her five children, son-in-laws, sister-in-laws, 25 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, The Fancy Lady's Club, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 10AM. East Hills Community Church. 20660 Orange Terrace Parkway. Riverside, CA. Internment will follow at Perris Valley Cemetery. 915 N.
