Roger B. Steppe

“Age 91, of Corona. Entered Into Eternal Rest on July 23, 2018, after failing health and hospitalization. He was born on October 4, 1926, in Tavares, Florida, the beloved son to his parents Earl and Lucille Steppe.In 1943, Roger was but sixteen when he and his 15 year old buddy Ben, joined the Merchant Marines during the midst of WWII. He would serve with the Merchant Marines until 1950 when he joined the U.S. Army serving until 1952. Upon completion of his bachelors degree, Roger went on to work as a Owner Developer in the land/property industry. He leaves behind his adored wife Louise, son Roger & daughters Debbie and Michelle. He was preceded in death by son Greg in 2014. He was the loving Grandpa to seven grandchildren: Mark, Brook, Shonna, Chelsea, Andrew, Claire and Chad, three great-grandchildren: Jack, Gavin & Conner, dear brother to Fred Steppe and Ann Blanchard and a friend to many.Shelter Services with Full Military Honors will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 1:45PM.
