“Robert Eugene Sponheim, age 84, resident of Victorville, California, Entered Eternal Rest on Thursday, March 9, 2017. Born on February 1, 1933 in Kimbell, South Dakota. He was the beloved son of Cecil and Lola Sponheim. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the construction industry for several years. Also, Eugene proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War in 1953 to 1955. He will be dearly missed by daughters Barbara A. Kulaxsa and Roberta Gigear, Son; Robert M. Sponheim and his ten (10) grandchildren; David, Darrin, Kalie, Bryce, Caleb, David, Daniel, Kyle, Ryan and Analise. Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Riverside National Cemetery with full Military Honors located in Riverside, California.”, “”
