Rigoberto R. Martinez

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rigoberto R. Martinez, who departed this life on April 19, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on May 27, 1957, in Irapuato, Mexico, Rigoberto was a beloved husband, father, and friend, known for his unwavering work ethic and dedication to his family.

Rigo lived in Corona, California for the last 50 years and his strong character allowed him to provide for his loved ones and contribute to his community. He took immense pride in his work and was admired for his resilience and commitment.

Rigoberto leaves behind his cherished wife, Sara Martinez, and his devoted son, Rigoberto Martinez, daughters, Jennifer Garcia, Mayra Martinez & Kristina Martinez and 5 loving grandchildren, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. His warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.

A series of memorial events will be held in honor of Rigoberto's life. A public viewing will take place on May 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Mel Catholic Church, followed by a Rosary service at 11:30 AM. A Mass will be celebrated at the church at 12:00 PM. The graveside service will follow at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park at 1:30 PM. Rigoberto will be laid to rest at 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA.

As we gather to celebrate Rigoberto's life, let us remember his joyful spirit and the love he shared with everyone around him. May he rest in eternal peace.
