“Age 96, a lifelong resident of Riverside County, Entered Into Eternal Rest peacefully at home Monday evening under Hospice care. Born October 19, 1920, Pete was the beloved son to Frederico and Salome Mendoza. An early-entrepreneur, Pete & his late wife Eleanor (d. 3/2012) owned and operated a successful Snow Cone business, catering to the youth of the community at local parks, ballfields, games & events. He was a devoted husband to his late Eleanor, dear father to Ralph, Robert and Sally, an adored grandfather and great-grandfather. He was laid to rest following services along with his wife at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Riverside.“, “”
