“Age 87, of Whittier, CA. Entered Into Eternal Rest peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 with her devoted family by her side. Marilyn had been a resident in Los Angeles County for fifty-four years. Born December 29, 1930 in Presque Island, Maine she was the beloved daughter to Claude and Pauline Hughes. After graduating from High School, Marilyn worked more than 25 years as an Operator with the Telephone Company. She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Kruse, Laurie Reece & Karen Valloza, one son Robert \”Bobby\” Taylor, 11 grandchildren: Randy, Stephen, Tracy, Kimberly, Christopher, Kellie, Amanda, Mathew, Michael, Ron and Nicole, 15 great-grandchildren: Greg, Cody, Abigale, Joshua, Jessica, Joseph, Blake, Ryder, Brady, Jackson, Arlo, Townes, Jayden, Harley and Teagan, her adopted family, Stella, four grandchildren: Ralph, Sabrina, Andrea & Stephen and seven great-grandchildren: Alex, Ximena, Angelia, Tatiana, Hailey, Dean & Sophia. She will be dearly missed by all. Celebration Of Life service is scheduled for Saturday, September 15th beginning at 10:30AM in East Whittier Friends Church, 15911 Whittier Blvd. in E.
