Maria E Vejar

Maria E. Vejar Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother Maria E. Vejar, better known as Lola, passed away at the age of 94 on February 7, 2023 in Corona CA. She was born on July 3, 1928, in Mexico to Uvaldo and Juana Vejar. She moved to the U.S. at the age of 55 to start a new life where she cared for her three granddaughters. Maria enjoyed working on her embroidery, crocheting, cooking and seeing new places. On Sundays she would walk miles to attend her favorite catholic church where she pray. Her laughter was contagious, and she was always happy to share an anecdote. She would sing along to her favorite songs by Las Jilguerillas. Lola was the matriarch of the family and very independent until her last day with us. She will be greatly missed. Maria is survived by her daughter Socorro Benavides, granddaughters Debbie Acosta, Daisy Sustaita, Deida Garcia, and great-grandkids, Natalie, Diana, Damian, and Julian. The funeral will be a private ceremony with only close family members present. Mara E. Vjar Adorada madre, abuela y bisabuela Maria E. Vejar, mejor conocida como Lola, falleci a la edad de 94 aos el 7 de febrero de 2023 en Corona CA. Naci el 3 de julio de 1928 en Mxico de Uvaldo y Juana Vejar. Se mud a los EE. UU. a la edad de 55 aos para comenzar una nueva vida donde cuidaba a sus tres nietas. Mara disfrut trabajando en su bordado, tejer, cocinar y conocer nuevos lugares. Los domingos caminaba millas para asistir a su iglesia catlica favorita donde oraba. Su risa era contagiosa y siempre estaba feliz de compartir una ancdota. Cantaba sus canciones favoritas de Las Jilguerillas. Lola fue la matriarca de la familia y muy independiente hasta su &uacuteltimo da con nosotros. La vamos a extraar enormemente. A Mara le sobreviven su hija Socorro Benavides, sus nietas Debbie Acosta, Daisy Sustaita, Deida Garca y sus bisnietos, Natalie, Diana, Damian y Julian. El funeral ser una ceremonia privada en la que solo estarn presentes los familiares cercanos.
