With profound love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Luis Enrique Hurtado of Corona, California, who gained his wings on August 4, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on May 2, 1936, in Sonora, Mexico, Luis built a beautiful life defined by love, sacrifice, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family.

Luis was the heart and foundation of our family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, and a true warrior who dedicated his life to caring for and protecting those he loved.

For 67 beautiful years, Luis shared his life with his beloved wife, Francisca. Their marriage was built upon enduring love, devotion, and a lifetime of treasured memories. She remained the love of his life and his cherished companion throughout their remarkable journey together.

Luis is survived by his loving wife, Francisca; his seven children, Luis (Alejandra), Guillermo (Lorie), Gabriel (Vida), Adelisa (Patrick), Belinda, Rogelio (Lupe), and Armando (Liz); his 16 grandchildren; and his 12 great-grandchildren. Each member of his family held a special place in his heart, and nothing brought him greater happiness or pride than the family he helped build.

For 35 years, Luis worked as a mechanic, demonstrating the same dedication, patience, and determination that defined every part of his life. He believed deeply in working hard, providing for those he loved, and protecting his family. Through his example, he taught his children and grandchildren the importance of strength, responsibility, perseverance, and always putting family first.

To know Luis was to know a man of great strength, wisdom, and character. He showed us that a person does not need to say much to leave a powerful and lasting impression. His calm presence reassured us, his example guided us, and his strength reminded us to keep moving forward during difficult times. He was a man of his word who taught us to stand strong, remain united, and never forget the importance of family.

Although we are heartbroken that he is no longer physically beside us, we find comfort in knowing that his love remains within each of us. It lives on through the lessons he taught, the traditions he helped create, the stories we will continue to share, and the generations who will proudly carry his memory forward.

We will forever be grateful for every year, every lesson, every laugh, and every precious moment we were blessed to share with him. Luis was deeply loved by his family, and the impact of his life can never be measured.

Our greatest warrior may now be watching over us from above, but his strength will continue to guide us, his legacy will live on through our family, and his love will remain in our hearts forever.
