Leonor Walle de Marmolejo

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Leonor Walle de Marmolejo, who left us peacefully on June 11, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on July 1, 1935, in Jalisco, Mexico, Leonor's journey began in a small town that would forever remain close to her heart. She dedicated her life to her family as a devoted homemaker, nurturing her loved ones with boundless affection and wisdom.Leonor made her home in Corona, California, where she embraced the American spirit while holding onto the rich traditions of her Mexican heritage. Her strong will and gentle spirit made her a beacon of hope and strength for her family and friends. She often shared stories of her childhood, painting a vivid picture of her roots and the values that shaped her into the remarkable woman she became.  Leonor is survived by her beloved children, Yoly, Manuel, Leticia, Mague, Rodolfo, Rene, Albina, Martha, Dora and Alfredo who carries forward her legacy of love and resilience. The family draws comfort from the cherished memories of Leonor's laughter, warmth, and unyielding support.Funeral services will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2140 W. Ontario Ave., Corona, CA where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate her remarkable life. There will be a public viewing on Thursday, June 26, 2025, From 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM, allowing all who knew her to pay their respects. A beautiful Rosary service will take place the following day, Friday, June 27, 2025, From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a solemn Mass at 12:00 PM.In her passing, Leonor leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire those who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
