Kenneth Michael Maziol, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away due to a devastating stroke on May 6, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on July 1, 1948 in Compton and raised in Norwalk, California, Ken, as he was known by family and friends, lived a life marked by passion, commitment, and a profound sense of integrity.
Ken's curiosity and diverse upbringing shaped his worldview and inspired his contributions to the aerospace industry. He earned his bachelor's degree in physics at California State University, Fullerton and applied his skills as a Boeing engineer, where he dedicated 40 years to advancing technology and innovation.
Ken was a loyal Dodgers fan and enjoyed listening to The Beach Boys and The Beatles. His hobbies included woodworking, ping pong, jigsaw puzzles, video games, and robotics. Special memories included trips to Disneyland, family camping, being a Cub Scout Den Leader, and many years of men's softball. Climbing Yosemite's Half Dome was one of his proudest hiking achievements.
Married for 56 years, Kenneth is survived by his cherished wife, Christine Maziol, who was his partner in life and love. Together, they created a warm and supportive home in Anaheim and Chino Hills, California, where they nurtured their shared values of family, hard work, and perseverance.
Ken leaves behind two wonderful sons, Joseph Maziol and Daniel Maziol, along with Daniel's wife Christina and their three beautiful children (Ken's grandchildren): Ashley, Miranda, and Ryan. Ken also leaves behind his lovely sisters-in-law Donna Spicer and Bernadette Dombroski, along with his nieces and nephew and their families: Bridgett Spicer, Matthew Spicer, and Esther Koetter. Ken is also survived by numerous cousins.
Of all his accomplishments and experiences in life, his greatest honor was to be the proud father of his wonderful and brilliant sons whom he loved with all his heart.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Sigmund (Sam) and Connie Maziol.
In his passing, Kenneth leaves behind a legacy of dedication, love, and innovation that will continue to inspire all who knew him. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of his family, friends, fellow board and committee members from the homeowners' association, and neighbors whom he inspired and loved.
