Juan “Quico” Herrera

“Age 64, long-time resident of Los Angeles. Entered Into Eternal Rest during the evening hours of Tuesday, May 1, 2018 with his devoted family surrounding him. He was born in El Salto, Durango, Mexico, on January 29, 1954, the beloved son to his parents Manuel and Francisca Herrera. \”Quico\” as he was affectionately known, met his soulmate, Fermina, early in life and together they married on November 5, 1972 in Durango, Durango Mexico. They soon started a family and moved to the United States where Quico worked as a Fabricator in the Automotive industry for 42 years. He was well respected and admired by his fellow colleagues and was known for his sense of humor. He leaves behind his wife of 45 years, a daughter Matilde Navarro Herrera, sons Lalo, Manuel, and Juan Herrera, as well as 10 grandchildren, with his first great-grandchild (a girl) due this July. In addition, Quico is survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, brother and sister-in-laws, brothers, and countless friends.
