“Joseph Andrew Galdonik, age 65, Entered Into Eternal Rest on December 29, 2018 after failing health and hospitalization. Known affectionately as Grandpa Joe" Joseph was long-time resident of Riverside County, where he lived with his adored wife Meiko Hohenberger.He was born on April 6, 1953, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the beloved son to his parents William and Lucille Galdonik. After earning his bachelor degree in Engineering, Joseph went on to work for California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where he was employed as a System Support Technician for 25 years.A true testament to how much Joseph was admired and respected, he and his family received untold amounts of cards and gifts when he had to take a leave of absence due to illness. The cards all said the same sentiment; Joseph was a man of integrity, fiercely loved, and admired by all.Cherished most of all by his wife Meiko, daughter Cindy Barnett, and granddaughter Emi Rose Barnett, Joseph's memory will never be forgotten.Services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11AM.
