Jenero Robert Baltierra

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jenero Robert Baltierra, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, who left this world peacefully on July 4, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on September 19, 1932, in El Monte, California, Jenero lived a life marked by dedication, resilience, and love. Jenero was a proud veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War, having enlisted on February 2, 1951, serving until his discharge on March 12, 1954 and having earned the Korean Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars. His service to his country instilled in him a strong sense of duty and commitment, qualities that he carried into every aspect of his life. After his time in the military, he devoted himself to a career as a truck driver in the transportation industry, where he worked tirelessly to provide for his family. In addition to his professional achievements, Jenero was a cherished member of his community and a loving husband to his wife, Susan Baltierra. Together, they shared an enduring bond that was a cornerstone of his life. Jenero's warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will be dearly missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Jenero's remarkable life at the following services: A public viewing will be held at the Walker Family Funeral Service on July 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Mass will take place at St. Edward Catholic Church on July 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM, where we will come together in prayer and reflection. Jenero will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery on July 23, 2025, at 12:45 PM, as we honor his legacy and service. In honoring his memory, we remember Jenero Robert Baltierra not only for his achievements and service but for the love, laughter, and joy he brought into our lives.
