“Age 86 years, longtime resident of Riverside County. Entered Into Eternal Rest during the afternoon hours of Tuesday, March 10, 2020, after failing health and hospitalization. He was born on September 7, 1933, in Mississippi, the beloved son to his parents Jim and Dottie (Michels) Hooker. Following high school, James proudly served his Country by enlisting in the United States Army where he remained until his Honorable Discharge. Following his Military career, he went on to work in the Automobile Assembly Lineup for 30 years before his retirement. He is survived by his son Ira and countless others who knew and loved him.
