“July 22, 1943 ~ October 3, 2018In loving memory of Herman Pflugradt. He was born July 22, 1943 to Herman and Irene Pflugradt in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and served our Country for 10 years including 3 tours in Vietnam. Following his service he worked for the Department of Defense as an Offset Printer in Seal Beach and Norco until 1993. Then he was employed by the Corona-Norco Unified School District as a Security Officer at Corona High School. He retired again in 2005. He enjoyed going on cruises, especially to Alaska; and spending time watching his large koi pond. Herman always had a smile on his face and enjoyed talking with people, strangers or friends.Herman is survived by his wife Dorothy, sons Richard (Sharon) Pflugradt and Timothy (Sherrell) Pflugradt, stepson Joseph (Michelle) Morgan, stepdaughter Patricia (Darrell) Woods, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother. His parents, 1 stepson, 1 grandson and 1 sister preceded him.Funeral Services with Full Military Honors are set for Thursday, October 11, 2018 beginning at 12:15PM in Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside CA 92518, “”
