Gloria Aida Verdugo

It is with a broken heart that we announce the passing of our loving and beloved Mother Gloria Aida Verdugo Ontiveros. She passed on June 12, 2026 at the age of 72. She was born on April 17, 1954 and is survived by three children, eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two brothers and lots of family and friends who love her and whom she loved.

Our Mother was a very loving and friendly person who always went out of her way to help anyone in need. She lit up any room she walked into and knew how to make people smile. She was a devoted daughter of God and took care of her parents until their very last breath. Even though we are heartbroken we know that she is at peace with Our Heavenly Father and with her parents Edelmira Ontiveros de Verdugo and Juan De Dios Verdugo.

We will forever miss her good sense of humor, her love, affection, her hugs and her blessings. Until we meet again Mami!

A viewing/ rosary will take place on June 30th, 2026 at 10:30 A.M. at Queen of Angels Catholic Church located at 4824 Jones Ave. Riverside, CA 92505. Followed by a bilingual mass at 11:30 A.M and proceeding to Sunnyslope Cemetery 1125 Rimpau Ave. Corona CA 92879 where service will begin at 1:30 P.M.

Con el corazón roto anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra amada Madre Gloria Aida Verdugo Ontiveros. Falleció el 12 de junio de 2026 a la edad de 72 años. Nació el 17 de abril de 1954 y le sobreviven tres hijos, once nietos, tres bisnietas, dos hermanos y muchos familiares y amigos que la aman y a quienes ella amaba.

Nuestra Madre era una persona muy cariñosa y amigable que siempre hacía todo lo posible por ayudar a cualquiera que lo necesitara. Iluminaba cualquier lugar en el que entraba y sabía cómo hacer sonreír a la gente. Era una hija devota de Dios y cuidó de sus padres hasta su último aliento.

Aunque estemos desconsolados sabemos que ella está en paz con Nuestro Padre Celestial y con sus padres Edelmira Ontiveros de Verdugo y Juan De Dios Verdugo.

Extrañaremos siempre su buen sentido de humor, su amor, cariño, sus abrazos y sus bendiciones. ¡Hasta que nos volvamos a encontrar Mamita!

Se llevará a cabo una visita/rosario el 30 de junio de 2026 a las 10:30 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica Queen of Angels ubicada en 4824 Jones Ave. Riverside, CA 92505. Seguirá una misa bilingüe a las 11:30 A.M. y al cementerio Sunnyslope 1125 Rimpau Ave. Corona CA 92879 donde el servicio comenzará a la 1:30 P.M.
