Gildardo Arreola

Gildardo (Gil) Arreola was born in Corona, California on October 23, 1953, to Ruben and Delfina Arreola. He went home to be with our Lord on January 23, 2023, surrounded by his family. Gil loved baseball and was an avid Dodger fan. He served as an umpire for baseball for many years, even coaching a few Little League teams along the way. Always Rule Book on hand. Gil also worked as a security guard for over 20 years. Gil was preceded in death by his parents; infant son Gilbert Anthony; sister Patricia Rangel; and brothers Frank Arreola and Fidel Arreola. He is survived by three sisters, Alice (Joe) Casillas, Mary Helen (Harvey) Guerrero and Monica Sanchez; two brothers, David (Liz) Martinez and Ruben (Anabelle) Arreola; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Gil was a joyful, joking person with a big heart. He will be missed, God bless you Gil, until we meet again.
