Edward Silvestri

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Edward Joseph Silvestri, affectionately known as "Big Ed." Edward was born on February 21, 1942, in Los Angeles, California, and peacefully departed this life on November 21, 2025, at the age of 83.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Silvestri; daughter, Gina Neumeyer; son, Steve Silvestri; as well as his grandchildren: Jon Silvestri, Annabella Silvestri, Jaxson Silvestri, Edward Neumeyer, and Caroline Neumeyer.

In honor of his life, a funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at:

Santa Clara de Asís Catholic Church

The family invites all who knew and loved Big Ed to join them in celebrating a remarkable man who touched so many lives. He will be dearly missed, but his spirit will undoubtedly live on in the memories of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
