Douglas “Doug” William Sands

“Age 75, longtime Riverside County resident. Entered Into Eternal Rest on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his home in Wildomar, CA with his loving family at his side. Born on February 22, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts, Doug was the beloved son of Carl and Dorothy Sands. Following his high school graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from November 30, 1959 to March 15, 1964. After his honorable military service he worked as an installer in the telephone industry for ten years. Doug will be greatly missed by his two sons: Bryan and Carl, his loving sister Candace Henry, 4 grandchildren, as well by all those who knew and loved him.Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 with Full Military Honors at 10:45AM in Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside,CA 92518. “, “”
