“February 11, 1927 ~ December 31, 2016Age 89, Entered Into Eternal Rest on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the VA Medical Center in Loma Linda, CA. Born on February 11, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois, Donald was the beloved son of David J. McLaren and Mary Blanche Beique. After high school, Donald proudly served his Country in the United States Navy during World War II, and was awarded a Purple Heart. Following his military service, he worked as a master machinist in the tool and dye industry for more than fifty years. Donald is survived by his cherished children: Cheryl, Laurie, Erin, Susie, Debbie and Mike, as well as by many other dear family members and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 12:15PM with Full Military Honors at the Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside, CA 92518.”, “”
