He was born on September 15, 1949, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the beloved son to his parents Willard and Bernadine (Kardos) Shaffer. David proudly served his Country for over 6 years with the U.S Navy. Soon after his release from duty, David worked as a Network Systems Engineer for over 35 years.
