Darrell Buckert

“Age 88 years, longtime resident of Orange County. Entered Into Eternal Rest during the evening hours of Tuesday, February 11, 2020 just one week after his 88th birthday. He was born on February 4, 1932, in Nebraska, the beloved son to his parents Elmer Buckert and Mildred Hamel. After high school, Darrell proudly served his Country by enlisting in the United States Military. Following his Honorable Discharge, he went on to own his own Drapery business for 50 years before his retirement. He is survived by his wife Roselee, his children Steven (Linda) Buckert and Greg Buckert, as well as countless others who knew and loved him. He will be forever missed.
