With heavy hearts but joyful spirits, we announce the passing of Darlene Berry, who left us peacefully on February 18, 2026, just days shy of her 83rd birthday. Born on February 23, 1943, in Geary, OK, Darlene touched the lives of many during her journey through life. As a loving mother and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), she embodied compassion and care, making a lasting impact in the medical field and on all who knew her.
Darlene lived life with grace, determination, and an infectious smile. Her journey took her to Eastvale, CA, where she became a pillar in her community. She was a proud mother to her beloved Daughter, Sherrita Brown, Son, Dwight Berry, and many cherished Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great Great-Grandson. Darlene's legacy of kindness and strength will continue to inspire her family and friends.
In honor of her rich life and the joy she brought to others, we invite you to join us in celebrating Darlene's life. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1501 S. Figueroa Street, Willmington, CA. Friends and family are welcome to come together to share memories, laughter, and love in her honor.
A public viewing is scheduled for Friday, March 6, 2026 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Walker Family funeral Services, 815, S. Main Street, Corona, CA 92882 Darlene will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery, located at 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518 on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 12:30 PM. We welcome all who wish to say their final goodbyes and celebrate her remarkable life.
As we gather to remember Darlene, let us reflect on her unwavering spirit, the love she shared, and the countless lives she touched. May her legacy continue to inspire all of us to live life fully and compassionately.
Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, DC Berry and her oldest son, Ejuan D. Berry.
