“Age 80 - Clarice Earlene Michaels entered into eternal rest on August 20, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Earlene was born May 4, 1937, in Corona, California, to parents Earl and LaVerne Hardison.Earlene is survived by her 4 children: daughter Janet Collis, and sons Jack Michaels, Jeff (Susie) Michaels, and Jerrold (Janice) Michaels; sister Carolyn (Keith) Seymour; 3 great-grandchildren: J.J, Layla, and Jax. She was preceded in death by her brother, Doug Hardison, her granddaughter Dominique Michaels, and her loving husband of 60 years, Gene Michaels.Earlene worked at Corona Community Hospital for 30 years and served on the corona Heritage Foundation Board of Directors for 8 years.Earlene enjoyed planning family events, especially at Christmas. She was an excellent cook, a devout Christian, and the matriarch of her family. She was a loving wife, mother, Granny, sister, aunt, and friend, and she will be forever remembered and cherished by all who knew her. The legacy of family traditions that she leaves behind will be carried on and treasured for eternity.Memorial services for Earlene Michaels will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 2:30 PM at Living Truth Christian Fellowship Church, 1009 Arsenal Way & River Rd., Corona.
