Celia “Sally” Jacobson

“On July 2, 2016, after 31 years, Sally Rivera Jacobson went to be with her beloved husband Jim. Born on January 20, 1943, Sally was the beloved daughter of Crispin and Eleanor Rivera. Sally is survived by her daughter Cindy (Randy) Lytle; her son Michael (Christine) Jacobson and grandsons Nathan, Nicholas, and Noah; her son Steven Jacobson and grandson Drake; and her sister Mary (Frank) Negrete of Marietta, GA. She is predeceased by her parents and her brother Philip. She leaves behind her beloved cousins and many aunts, as well as her many dear best friends forever.A lifelong resident of Corona, Sally was one of the first female reserve police officers on the Corona Police Department. Over the years, she was involved in many civic activities, most recently as a member of the Joe Dominguez American Legion Auxiliary Unit 742.A funeral mass was held for Sally on July 12th at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, followed by burial at Corona Sunnyslope Cemetery.”, “”
