It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Bennie Lester Dishman, who departed from this life on August 14, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on March 24, 1954, in Monticello, Kentucky, Bennie lived a life marked by dedication and service.
A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Bennie served his country with honor, demonstration the values of commitment and integrity that would define his life. Following his military service, he pursued a career in accounting, earning a bachelor’s degree and establishing himself as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). His professionalism and expertise earned him the respect of his colleagues and clients alike.
Bennie resided in Corona California where he continued to build a life full of meaningful connections and cherished memories. He is remembered with love and admiration by his family and friends. He is survived by daughters Sharon Tutino and Karen Loya, son Rene Loya, brothers Wayne Dishman and Tony Dishman, sister Joy Dishman, 9 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
In accordance with his wishes, a cremation service will take place, and his ashes will be interred at Dishman Cemetery in Monticello, Kentucky, a place that held significant meaning for him.
He will be deeply missed but his spirit will live on through the lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
Bennie was preceded in death by his wife Billie Dishman, Bennie Dishman, and Laura Dishman.
